Where it lives, who can see it, and how you would take it with you.
- Where your data lives
- On a server we run in a European data centre, over HTTPS only, with daily backups kept off the server.
- Who sees what
- Roles and company scopes. A bookkeeper for one company cannot open another company's books; salary amounts are walled to the people allowed to see them.
- Passwords and sign-in
- One account per person, never shared logins. A second factor is available for owner and finance seats.
- Audit
- Every change to a document is versioned with who changed it and when.
- Portability
- Your data is a standard ERPNext database plus your files. If you leave, you get both, in full, in the standard format, and you can run them anywhere ERPNext runs.
- What we do not promise
- An availability figure or a response-time figure. We will publish them when we can stand behind them, not before.
