The story

They ran several QuickBooks files, one per company, and a separate fee system for the schools.

We moved every file's history in, tied each company's profit and loss to the QuickBooks figures, and kept the originals in a sealed archive.

Fees, M-Pesa receipts, payroll and the group's books now run on one site. Staff log in with one account each and see only their company.

What broke along the way is written down too: duplicated customers from the old files, students billed twice, a month where the bank statements were late. Each one was fixed at its source and the fix recorded.
